As a director at GMR, he’s behind some of the country’s biggest events, like PLAYCON, the Malta ePremier League, and the Malta Cyber Series. He also serves as vice president of the Malta Esports Association, helping to shape the future of esports on the island.
You’ll also hear from Francis Ghersci, a highly accomplished filmmaker with over a decade of experience at Stargate Studios Malta. His impressive portfolio includes everything from commercials to television shows, and he’s a true master of directing, editing, and virtual cinematography using Unreal Engine. Today, he leads as Head of Creative at Stargate Studios Malta.
Chris Cachia will also be speaking. He is the co-founder and director of Bloxx Bureau, which is a specialist service provider in the video game and esports industry in Malta and the EU. Chris assists and advises both local and international esports organisations and video game companies on a wide range of topics covering corporate structuring, fundraising and governance. A Financial Services Professional with 17 years of experience working in the regulatory, asset management, and corporate services industries, Chris has held various roles in regulated and non-regulated entities in Malta, UK and Luxembourg.
